Casa Rasena

Etruscan villa for rent in Tuscany

casa rasena

Deep in the heart of the hills surrounding Florence, at just 15 kilometres from the town, “Rasena House” was built on the ruins of an ancient Etruscan “pago”.

Entirely built in stones, the actual building is dated around the XIII century: under its foundations a roman “dolium” was found, containing pieces of handcraft which confirm the archaic origin of the building itself, while in the surroundings roman coins and fencing stones were found, as well as rests of Etruscan vases.

A medieval well called “Del Becco” is in the wood, and a church of the XVII century is built close to the road. In the house ten beds and kitchen are available: within the estate field “entirely fenced” there is a camping area with some tents, water and electricity at guests disposal.

The estate, in tuscany, is available for everyone who wants to have a different adventurous holiday.
